Labour Celebrates Age in Lambeth

Celebrating Age, a month long festival for older people in Lambeth, takes place throughout October. This festival aims to reflect the diversity of older people in the borough, providing them with an opportunity to receive information on services, meet new people, try new activities and enjoy free enterntainment. Labour Councillor Donatus Anyanwu, Cabinet Member for Adult and Community services, stated, "Lambeth Council is delighted to work in partnership with Age Concern to mark this important initiative. Get hold of a copy of the programme to see what's on offer - I can guarantee you will not be disappointed."
