Brockwell Lido reopens

Renovation almost complete

Brockwell Lido will be throwing open its doors on 2 July to welcome swimmers, dippers and bathers once more, when the pool reopens seven days a week for the summer season.

Managed by Fusion Leisure the lido has been undergoing substantial refurbishment works as part of a £3 million improvement plan, including £500,000 funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Renovation of the lido buildings and the pool surrounds is almost complete, restoring it back to its 1930’s former glory. Other improvements include a new entrance, toilets, changing rooms and yoga studios.
Phase two of the improvements will come in September with the refurbishment of the south wing, and will include:
Spa with hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam and therapy rooms Multi-purpose studio space Fitness suite

The lido will be open 6.45am-8pm, Monday to Friday and 10am-6pm at weekends. Brockwell Park, Dulwich Road, SE24. For more information call 020 7274 3088.
